HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each ingredient has a unique function and effect.

Ashwagandha – Scientifically it is Withania somnifera. It is unique for its horse-like odour from the root part. The root is the medicinal part of the plant. It is said to tone and rejuvenate our entire body system. The root contains steroidal compounds which are collectively known as Withanolides[10]. They are found to be beneficial in Brain and endocrine function, nervous and immune system, improves endocrine function[11], relieves stress and induces sleep
Ashoka – It grows tall and beautiful with red and orange coloured flowers with a pleasant fragrance. The name itself suggests less sorrow. The bark is used in cosmetic preparation and flowers to detoxify human body and relieve monthly cramps[12]. It is a pro-estrogenic agent.
Cedrus Deodara – Familiar to us in the name of Devadaru. The houseboats of Srinagar are famous for its construction with Devadaru. Oil from its inner bark has antifungal[13] property and outer bark has astringent property as well. Cedar oil is the mainstay in aromatherapy[14].
Lodhra – It is a flowering plant which has around 300 species. It contains Glycosides[15] and alkaloids namely Loturine, Colluturine, Loturidine. Mainly this is indicated for acne, blemishes, haemorrhage, eye and dental problems, wounds and ulcers. It is mainly indicated for menstrual and gynaecological problems also. Lodhra has also got a pro-estrogenic action.
Kasisa Bhasma – It is prepared from Green Vitriol, mainly indicated for the cure of anaemia, spleen disorders, fever, pruritis, eye disorders, and improves immunity. Under Tridosha effect it is said to balance Vata and Kapha.
Messua Ferrea – Often named as cobra’s saffron. Colloquially called as naga champakam or nagpushpa. Its flower, seed and root have herbal medicinal properties.
Nardosachys Jatamansi – It is a flowering plant which is the source of aromatic oil, spikenard. It has been indicated for hair growth, skin infection, pain, stress, cardiac and mental health as well. The active components include ursolic acid, acacin, Kanshone A, octacosanol, nardosinone, oleanolic acid, and beta-sitosterol. It is both carminative and aromatic.
Shatavari – It is a species of asparagus. Its dried roots are of immense herbal medicinal value mainly indicated for reproductive health and well being. It balances hormonal abnormalities and enhances milk production in breastfeeding mothers. The active constituents include steroidal saponins and alkaloids.

All the above ingredients exert their own function as mentioned.
Unlike having a general mechanism of action of pharmacology like in allopathic medicine, in Ayurveda, each substituent has its own action which stands independently.

Abnormal Blood values – The hematinic action of the syrup/tablet through Kasis Bhasma relives the anaemic symptoms.
Sex Hormonal abnormality – Ashoka and Lodhra has pro-estrogenic action and helps in relieving hormonal imbalances. It is also indicative for PCOD
Menstrual abnormalities – Shorter periods with heavy bleeding is corrected by Ashoka. It also corrects the cycle and flow.
An absence of Periods – Kasis Bhasma is said to stimulate blood flow during the absence of monthly.
Preventing infertility – Anovulation is said to be the prime reason for infertility, which is treated with M2 Tone.

HOW EFFECTIVE IS M2 Tone?

No Ayurveda preparation gives you instant relief.
It may take a month or more to even show a noticeable change in the symptoms and several; months to completely cure the disease.

Maximum dose – 6 tablets per day

WHAT IF I MISS A DOSE?

If you have missed your dose, take the tablet soon as you remember it.
It comes as a twice-daily regimen with maximum 6 tablets per day.
A dose at morning and a dose at night is the ideal one.
If you miss your daily dose take it with the night dose.
If you have missed you night dose, skip it and continue the normal dosing from the next day itself.

Keep the tablet box on the dining table, but away from children

If you suspect an overdosage, call the physician immediately.
